755 AD, the Tang capital. You are a minor clerk at the Chunming Gate. Every traveller hands you their papers. You decide who gets in.公元 755 年，大唐长安。你是春明门的一名小吏，每个进城的人都把过所交到你手里，放不放行由你决定。
How it plays怎么玩
- Compare each traveller’s papers against today’s edicts — names, dates, seals, where they came from.对照当天的敕令查过所：姓名、日期、官印、从哪里来。
- Approve or deny. Mistakes cost you wages; wages pay for rent, food and medicine.准入或驳回。错一个扣一份工钱，工钱要拿去交房租、买米、抓药。
- A sick child, a desperate widow, a silk merchant with a heavy purse, an envoy from Fanyang. Not every choice is about the rules.生病的孩子、走投无路的寡妇、钱袋沉甸甸的丝绢商、范阳来的使者——不是每个选择都只关乎规矩。
- Five days. Six endings. A run takes about 15 minutes.五天，六种结局，一局大约 15 分钟。

Why Chang’an?为什么是长安？
In 755 the An Lushan rebellion broke out in the north-east and, within a year, reached the capital. Gatekeeper takes place in the days before — when a gate clerk could still pretend nothing was wrong.755 年，安禄山在范阳起兵，不到一年就打到了长安。这款游戏发生在那之前的几天——一个守门的小吏还能假装一切如常的时候。
